From the fund-raising initiatives of Sahachari Foundation, the 'Design One' exhibitions are the most widely publicized and high-profile events.

Launched in September 2009, Design One exhibitions are now arranged four or five times in a year, in different cities within India and overseas. These shopping extravaganzas acknowledge the extraordinary talent that resides in creative designers and present an opportunity both for stakeholders to connect with consumers in a burgeoning market, and for shoppers to choose from a variety of exciting design options.

The exhibitions offer an eclectic product-mix of fashion wear, jewellery, couture accessories, foot wear, gift items, home décor, stationery and packaging created by designers from all over India. Design One participants are carefully selected to cater to the buyers’ profile. They showcase products that are exclusively designed for the upcoming festival or for the season.

NGOs are given space on a complimentary basis to sell their products.
