Dr Goswamy’s illustrated lecture 

Distinguished art historian Dr. B. N. Goswamy gave an illustrated talk on great images from a rare manuscript of the Bhagavat Purana, formerly in the collection of the Mysore Palace. The paintings were based on the latter half of the career of Krishna after he became Lord of Dwarka, and included the fierce contest with the bear-king Jambavana, the attack of the great fortress of Narakasura, the slaying of Shishupala & Jarasandha etc.
