The evening began with a surprise treat! Distinguished poet-lyricist Gulzar made a guest appearance and recited his poem on man and the mountain! It set the mood for what was to follow.

Shantanu Moitra’s anecdotes from the second part of his journey through the Himalayas, his compositions sung exquisitely by Kaushiki Chakraborty and Ashwin Shrinivasan, haunting chants sung by Buddhist nun Ani Choying, interspersed with stunning visuals of snow-capped ranges, together created magic.
