An evening of Gurudev Tagore’s poetry recited by Gulzar and Jaya Bachchan

The auditorium was packed to capacity as Gulzar presented his Hindi translations of selected works of Rabindranath Tagore, along with a commentary in English, while Jaya Bachchan prefaced the Hindi translations with the original Bangla version.

Proceeds from the sale of the concert were donated to Laadli, an NGO that works for the welfare of the girl child.
