Renowned singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan premiered ‘My Country, My Music’ on the eve of India’s Republic Day. Conceived, curated and directed by him, this multi-media musical extravaganza captured some of the diversity and richness of India’s musical legacy. Presented in ten Indian languages, the songs were a mix of traditional and contemporary styles, interlaced with pieces from popular Bollywood songs, and accompanied by visuals.

Shankar Mahadevan led an ensemble of 22 musicians in this show which drew a packed hall on both days!
