For the second successive year, Amazing Yards featured 16 textile revivalists from across the country who retailed specially-designed saris, dupattas, stoles and made-ups in silk, cotton, tie and dye and weaves, using indigo, surface embroidery and a variety of textile traditions including bandhani, patola, kanjeevaram, maheshwari, uppada, ikat and hand block-print. The day saw a turnout of over three thousand buyers.

The big attractions were Abu-Sandeep’s prt line and Nirav Modi’s new line of jewellery.

Organized as a tribute to the spirit and artistry of the kaarigar, both events raised funds for St. Jude India Childcare Centres and other NGOs.
