Shankar Mahadevan, one of India’s foremost musicians, conceptualized and performed Shyam Rang, a musical event celebrating the many hues of Lord Krishna.

Drawing from a rich and varied repertoire of traditional as well as contemporary musical expressions, Shankar and his talented group of musicians employed an ektara, piano, bass guitar, dholak, bansuri, and innovated across several genres including classical, thumri, bhajan, abhang, sufi, folk, jazz and pop styles.

The audience in the jam-packed theatre sat enraptured, as if under a spell cast by the glory of the Blue God!
