Ustad Zakir Hussain led a specially-designed music ensemble Twilight Trail, that included Taufiq Qureshi, Selva Ganesh, Vijay Prakash and Ajay Joglekar. As twilight advanced towards night, the performers came together in a joint creative encounter, combining rhythmic elements from North and South Indian music with the metrical structures of Western and African drums, leaving a trail of myriad patterns in the packed auditorium.

Twilight Trail was a spectacular concert in which the artistes performed to a very appreciative audience.

From its many activities last year, Sahachari Foundation raised funds to support projects of 5 NGOs, selected for their excellent work. Before the concert began, representatives of the 5 NGOs were called on stage to receive donations at the hands of some of those who have supported the Foundation’s activities.
