Manisha Koirala unveiled the fourth edition of Design One in the capital, supporting both the ‘cancer awareness’ cause of Sahachari Foundation and the exhibition event. The vivacious actress gave away mastectomy blouses specially designed by Shivan and Narresh, to Tata Memorial Hospital’s Women’s Cancer Initiative for CanSupport, and Indian Cancer Society.

Design One, a couture exhibit for a niche audience, brought together exquisite ‘design and chic’ in the sprawling grounds of The Lodhi, with collections focusing on everyday wear, casual yet trendy ensembles, jewellery, accessories and home accents. Despite the rain playing spoiler on the first evening, the event ended on a high note with brisk sales and a large number of footfalls.
